Do these comments about your boyfriend's looks bother you because you think they're right? Do you think you are "settling"? Honestly, if you don't think he's attractive, and if YOU aren't attracted to him, that's what really matters. You need to ask yourself why you're with him if attraction isn't entering into it. Maybe you would really be better off as friends.

It doesn't matter
If people don't think he's cool just because he's not that hot, they're shallow. You can't judge a book by its cover. Some really really hot guys either turn out to be jerks or stupid or not boyfriend material.

Here goes...
So my boyfriend supposedly isn't the hottest guy around either. In fact, one of my female friends has told me that I "always date below my attractiveness level." Friends' reactions like this can obviously be really annoying. But the way I see it, my/our situation is the best of both worlds.
First of all, there aren't a lot of other girls flirting with him. No cause for jealousy is good. Second, I personally am very attracted to my boyfriend, as I hope you are too. The fact that other people don't agree makes me feel special-- like I can see something hidden and exciting in him that the rest of them are too blind to pick up on. Besides, we all know that looks aren't the most important thing.

Hmm...
Ok well, first of all you must not have cared what he looked like in the beginning. As for people not seeing him as "cool" well, that's their own problem. I bet he is an awesome guy and people just judge because he's not the hottest guy...but really who is? I think you should forget about other people and just do what you want to do!
